Part 1

Kids, you know your uncle Nageshwar Rao well. You would be wondering as to why someone would have such a name as a fifty year old. Sometimes your uncle also worried about the same. So we decided to call him NATA. This part does not deal with how he came to be called NATA, it deals with some very interesting incidents of NATA, his awesome biking skills. Let me give you some back up on this.

Your uncle Nata had never ever had a chance to ride a bike in Bangalore. He claimed that he had some biking experience and he did ride bikes back in his home town, but as you can expect no one was ready to buy that excuse. Never did anyone allow your uncle Nata to touch his bike. This got onto your uncle Nata's nerves and he decided buy a new bike and prove us all wrong. He was eventually successful in doing half of what he had planned to do. He bought a new bike. And to our surprise he managed to get it home. Our surprise did not last for long because we found out that he got the bike home pushing it instead of driving it. Everyone started wondering as to how Nata would ride his bike to his office. This time odds didn't favour us. Uncle Nata was more than successful in riding his bike to the office. And soon he started telling us tales about how fast he is driving. By what he said I was alarmed because I used to go half the speed that he did.

Uncle Nata did exceed our expectations in many ways. He not only was successful in riding his bike but also at an alarming speed. Kids, anything that grows at an exponential rate will have a fallback. This was the theory that most of us believed in. Your uncle Nata did not. Mother nature had different plans. She had to teach him that laws of nature can be bent but not be broken. Nata was violating the laws of Nature. SO he met with an accident. Accident may be an exaggerating term. I should be saying Incident. Your uncle Nata fell down from his bike because he forgot that something called breaks exist. Nothing much had happened because of that incident. Uncle Nata was not amongst people who give it up just because something wrong had happened. He didn't change his ways. Mother Nature had to do it again. Nata was still going strong.

It was Dec 31st 2008 and we had decided to go to a hill station to celebrate the new years eve. Uncle Nata was also with us. We decided to go that place on bikes because we couldn't find a four-wheeler. After half the journey was over Nata told us that his bike felt light in weight and when we checked we found that half the bike parts were missing. Only the engine with some vital bike parts were left. Nata was sad but we had convinced him that we could collect all those lost parts on our way back. Nata was successful in collecting his bike parts when we were on our way back. By the time we reached Bangalore Nata had his whole bike back.

The new year incident boosted the confidence in Nata. He decided that there is nothing called Nature and he gave a damn about its laws. So he started breaking them again. Mother Nature was furious this time. She had decided that incidents were not affecting Nata in any way. She decided that he had to meet with an accident. One fine morning when Nata was driving back to his home after a weekend spent at ours Mother Nature asked a car guy to stop at a corner of the road. Imagine who was behind him speeding at 110 kmph, your uncle Nata. He crashed into the car, broke the cars spoilers and hurt himself near the unmentionables. Luckily for him uncle Santa was going on the same way. Uncle Santa took Nata to the hospital.

And to Nata's despair the doctor was a female. So when Nata was made to strip down because the doctor could examine the unmentionables, Nata was unable to control his emotions. He thought that pain was a better alternative than the situation that he was in. Nata somehow managed and was out in a few minutes. He could not walk for a few days. Whatever happened to him was a carnage. He had learnt his lesson. Mother Nature was now happy.

Important Notes: Nata now walks faster than he drives. Mother Nature is ecstatic.
He has never visited a lady doctor ever since.

Kids, so the moral of the story is that never ever go against Mother Nature. She will be happy and so will you be.

Introduction

Kids, I am writing this blog because I want you to know how your dad was when he was young. What best way to know your dad than to know his friends. So this blog would mostly deal with your uncles and your dad's tales that revolve around them. I shall be updating this blog as and when I find something that I find interesting. Today's date is Sep 22, your dad's birthday. Now you might be thinking as to why I have mentioned this fact. The reason being that on my birthday I was feeling kinda lonely and sad instead being all excited and pumped up. So I had decided to write this blog as a gift to myself and a gift to you in future. Now enough of this history. I think I have given enough of heads up on this. Lets get started!
